Pollution and stress levels
Pollution, sewage, chemicals, and erosion are all problems in and for the Great Lakes. The ecosystem is being destroyed by chemicals. Glaciers melting, from global warming, are making ocean and lake levels rise. Pollution can cause skin infection and drinking water can be contaminated. Also pollution heats up water making it harder to live. Pollution has been a harmful gas to the Great Lakes for decades. Invasive species are also harmful to the Great Lakes.
Many people are contributing to help the Great Lakes.
