Passion Projects

Each lake is very unique of the five. I memorize them by  thinking of the acronym HOMES, Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior.

Lake Huron has the longest shoreline of the five. Huron is also mostly in Canada. Ontario has the smallest surface area. Michigan has the third largest surface area. Erie is the warmest and the shallowest of them all. Lastly, Superior is the deepest, coldest, and the clearest. Superior also contains half the water!
